Most of them had to stop playing at U14s because mixed teams stopped and there were no female teams. Almost every AFLW player will tell you the same thing.

Did the sporting world rally around Winmar and what he was trying to say? Yes, they did. Did society say racism was no longer acceptable and make pariahs of those unwilling to change? Yes, it did.
