Herald Sun reporting on the Daisy article that the Blues are out of the race for Adams telling them he is either staying at GWS or moving to Collingwood or Geelong.

We are well placed to snare Adams it seems.

Why would we want him at 30? He is also well past his best and he can't kick at goal to save his life. Very strange move by the club.

He'd be pretty handy for a couple of years, especially if we were having a crack at a flag (which I, unlike others, believe is still a real possibility). But, it really wouldn't be worth what St. Kilda would be asking for in return if he did want to move elsewhere and it would also hinder the development of youngsters like Paine. It wouldn't be worth it.

I just appreciate Ed's endeavour, there's no stone unturned with that man. What a legend.

I go to see what's the deal with Adams and there is just lots of girls being posted... Am i missing something?

That's a very loaded question which I refuse to answer.:p

I'm not good at this but something like the below would make me happy I think:

Pick 11 (Thomas) - Adams

Shaw - Varcoe plus 'something' swapped

2nd / 3rd rounder - White

Pick 10 -?

Varcoe had the chance to put Geelong into the GF in the last few seconds by a) Marking the ball and slotting the goal or b) gathering, steadying and slotting the goal...........Big time pressure game and he couldnt cope.......We have a big time pressure game every second week. Won't cope, can't cope and too injury prone. I have seen nothing that indicates he's a quality player we should chase.

Adams was a Geelong supporter growing up so it's somewhat nerve racking when it's down to us and them! But this is where the money and facilities talk.

Would think that a massive selling point for Adams would be the buy-in of being able to offer him a pathway to the leadership group with such a young list being assembled over the coming years.

The kid has a strong character and is mindful of personal as much as team orientated success.
