Phew, thought this was a thread where he was up for trade. Probably BOG, a huge leader on the ground.

Not the sharpest player going around. You'd have to be blind Freddy to miss that.
You'd have to be special needs to think this matters when it comes to Footy.

Shit kick, Heater's trade, volatile arrogant prick or not this bloke is the heart and soul of our Club now.

Fast becoming my favourite player.

Love how he is so pumped after every goal even when we're behind and always smashes into the opposition.

Surprisingly his kicking is improving too.

He's a thug and a doesn't represent very well for me. Pendlebury shits all over him.

If you're referring to the Geelong nightclub incident, that was three or four years ago. We can forgive him for an outlying incident, surely, if his off field behaviour has been exemplary since then. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Otherwise Adams brings some mongrel and mental toughness which we desperately need. Couple that with leadership, loyalty, and dare I say a love for the coach, and we have a winning combination. Disappointing of you to dismiss these qualities with a flippant 'he's an idiot'.

He was arrested for violence in 2012 and 2015, both times for getting into fights in Geelong.

Thanks for the correction. Not an outlier then.

But was he arrested or thrown out of the club?

"
YOUNG Collingwood star Taylor Adams has been charged for being drunk in public after a scuffle outside a central Geelong nightspot.

The Geelong Falcons product was arrested after being thrown out of Lamby’s night spot on Brougham St about 11pm Sunday."

Adams attack on the ball is relentless. Hes a gun. Given that majority of mids win a lot of their ball these days.. i would compliment a player like Adams by playing flamboyant quick and skillful types around him.. we are simply wasting a position on Greenwood when he's not great for our team dynamics.. i wouldn't play Adams and Greenwood in the same side.

He liked a scrap when he was younger, big deal. Look at Voss, he went on to be one of the best captains ever. I would be fine with Tay being the next captain of Collingwood.
I said the same at the game last night.

Just watched the Smith sealing goal highlights where Adams took it up to Hodge. Got under his skin big time and flew the flag in the face of one of the biggest snipers in AFL. He stuck it up their spiritual leader and was also relentless with his attack on the ball all night.

Loving his leadership on the field and wouldn't be surprised if he gets the nod to be captain next year or possibly 2019 season.

I think Greenwood is necessary because Adams is too much of a downward skier. Adams went head to head with Mitchell and Mitchell ended up with 50. Now luckily Mitchell didn't hurt Collingwood much with his 50 but you do need to question Adams defensive work.

Mitchell never does. Sometimes its best to play your own game and allow the opponent to play his.

Adams was more influential than Mitchell was.
