Very happy with his output since crossing over.
I still would do this deal again if offered the choice of Adams for Shaw.
He's developed every year and has added some leadership polish to his game.
Kicking still needs work but I don't mind that he goes for a few of those "riskier" kicks.
He's one of few that will even think about it rather than some of our other pedestrian users.

How come this vision misses the most genius part of this passage of play??Gathers the bouncing ball at pace, stops, sidesteps then carefully caresses it to a full pace Elliot. That's Gold! #TayTay
Gif would've been to big otherwise I'm sorry for letting you down. How come this vision misses the most genius part of this passage of play??
The Pendlebury kick that he chipped across to bounce up to Adams. Pure genius!
Was terrific!Pendlebury was best on, but I reckon Adams was the real catalyst for the come-back. He put his head over it, won the ball at will and started distributing it beautifully. He was possessed. One of the best games I've seen him play. It was a real leaders game.
That's Gold?My boy just a matter of time before he is captain.

That's not how the effective disposal stat works. If you take a kick and it ends up in the hands of your team mate it's an effective disposal, even if it was completely shanked and just got there by accident. It's part of what's wrong with the whole DE system.I'd disagree. Would have gone down as an inefficient possession due to the fact that it missed the target by quite a bit. If it weren't for the lucky bounce, it could have been going back over his head at pace.

Afaik as long as he picks it up uncontested it's effectiveJeez... Is it kind of like the NBA assist whereby an assist is given if the play is continuous? What if that ball from Pendles bounced 10 times before Taylor picked it up?
Would definitely not have gone down as ineffective as it made it to a team mateI'd disagree. Would have gone down as an inefficient possession due to the fact that it missed the target by quite a bit. If it weren't for the lucky bounce, it could have been going back over his head at pace.
If you kick a dribble goal from the pocket it is listed as an effective disposal. It doesn't matter how much it bounces as long as it gets to its intended destinationJeez... Yes any disposal gathered by a teammate is effectiveYou've completely missed the point. If a player kicked it off the side of his boot and it landed 50 metres from a teammate, bounced 8 time and came to rest yet another Collingwood player went and got it, is that an effective disposal. Based on the criteria others are mentioning, it would be.
Yes any disposal gathered by a teammate is effective
As long as he collects it uncontested.... yes.So I could kick it over my head.... the ball then bounces 150 metres to the other end of the oval. A mad foot race ensues with my team mate collecting the ball.... 30 seconds after it left my boot.
And that's effective?
As long as he collects it uncontested.... yes.
The **** game you watching.? Forgot 50. Its a number.look at the possies adams had that realllly hurt hawthorn. Quite few that actually contributed to us winningI think Greenwood is necessary because Adams is too much of a downward skier. Adams went head to head with Mitchell and Mitchell ended up with 50. Now luckily Mitchell didn't hurt Collingwood much with his 50 but you do need to question Adams defensive work.
