I find booing classless and a poor reflection of the fan base. Plus it sometimes motivates the person on the end of it. The best thing is to ignore them like they never existed.
Noble thoughts but he sold us up the river for Cotton On after we bent over backwards to help him. I will be one of the classless supporters who will be booing doubt I will be the only one.

Just watching a short video on the list build of Leicester in the Premier League.

The objective is to have two good players in every position - I lot harder to do on AFL and can also have players shifting but is interesting if you are as bored as me in the footy long march!

R: English Darcy + (Smith)

RR: Bont Hynes ? (Kennedy)

C: Trelor Richards + (Garcia)

R: Libba Sanders + (West)

FF: JUH Croft ?

CHF: Naughton Davidson ?

SF: Weightman Dolan ?

CHB: Lobb JOD +

FB: Jones Buss +

QB: Dale Friejah + (Cleary) and have lost Daniel but Williams a beautiful kick and could play there but reason why we picked Jacques so high.

SB: JJ Bramble +

Khamis, Coffield, Duryea, VDM, McNeil etc mainly utilities

A few ?’s so makes out VFL look weird with key players missing. Last year we had a lot of people planing outside of their role.

FB: Duryea, LJones, Busslinger
HB: Dale, Lobb, Bramble
C: Williams, Bont, Freijah
HF: West, Naughton, Davidson
FF: Weightman, JUH, Darcy
R: English, Libba, Treloar
IC: Richards, MKennedy, Sanders, JJ
Sub: Garcia

Debutants in bold.

I’d like Garcia in the main side but not sure how he fits.

My 2025 Selection starting point team, pending preseason performances.

B: Duryea Jones Freijah
HB: Dale Lobb Williams
C: Treloar Libba Richards
HF: West Darcy VDM
FF: McNeil Naughton Harmes

R:English Bont Kennedy
Int: O’Donnell, JJ, Garcia, Davidson.
Sub:Scott

Notable/Unconventional Omissions from EF side:
JUH, Weightman, Bramble and Gallagher

All should be required to perform some serious preseason penance for their costly EF performances before being considered for senior selection. Bramble may feel unlucky to be grouped with the others who were essentially AWOL that night, but his turnovers did hurt us significantly.

Some might think the criticism/suggested treatment of JUH and Weightman a bit harsh, but I think they should consider themselves lucky not to have been traded after their EF efforts. They should be made to put in some serious work to redeem themselves.

Davidson’s vfl form was pretty good last year hence his immediate elevation into the gap created by the JUH omission.

Also hoping to hear about Sanders having a huge preseason and thrusting himself into round 1 selection contention based on notable physical fitness/speed improvements, rather then just getting games into him.

Our 2025 mantra should be ‘senior games are earned not given’.

I don't think they will be dropped, but I would like them to be put on notice that what they dished up in the EF is unacceptable.

Not only did they perform terribly, but their attitudes pre- and post-game showed a worrying lack of appreciation for that game's importance.

Accepting such behavior without consequence is bad for the club's culture and could have long lasting ramifications.

Goodness me if we cant have some little shits and have to be a nice club that is so shit. Plenty of teams have some ratbags

If we traded every player who had a poor game, especially someone like Weightman who’s characteristically the team barometer with huge energy, we wouldn’t have a team to field very soon. Trading JUH and Weightman for having a poor performance and getting in their heads about it is nonsense.

A poor performance is one thing, a poor performance accompanied with questionable behavioural displays are something else again.

Marra's over exuberant laughing congratulations to his victorious opponents added a nice handful of salt into the wounds of the few Bulldog fans that hadn't immediately turned off the TV in disgust at the final siren.

If you have a shocker in a loss, the least you can do is act solemn and disappointed.

Similarly, those people worried about how much Cody was focusing on his football in the lead up to the EF, with all the media focus on his Art Show, had their perceptional fears reinforced by his meek onfield display. I have no problem with him being an artist and having a show, but seriously what was he thinking with the show's timing?

If you are going to do something like that, then you better perform on the big occasion or questions about priorities should be asked.

Both young players can be forgiven for making such mistakes, but they should have had a serious talking to about their performances on the big occasion and in response they should be attacking the preseason like they have a debt to repay, because they do.

I guess you could also ask what Clay Smith was doing missing training and going to his mate's funeral during Prelim Final week of 2016.

Did that affect his performance?

You're just upset. Time to build a bridge and get over it.

Cody must have had an art show in his career before any big game or final because he always went missing in those games

Had a Poor game :) mate he just doesn't show up on big occasions games not just the odd poor game

against essendon in the 2021 final yeah he doesnt show up in big games so we should trade him some absolute delusional fans

"Mate, we didn’t play an AFL side that day; we played witches' hats. :) The game was over after the first quarter. If you could do me a favor and get the stats for Cody’s goals in all finals he has played throughout his career—excluding the 'witches hat' game or any big games important to the Bulldogs' season.". I think you might find that the total goals he has kicked in those games is as much as your allocation on Jetstar hand luggage :)

Strange characterisation of a game we were only 3 points up in at half time, and were lucky they kicked 3 points in the third quarter compared to our 3 goals.

That is a ridiculous comparison.

Basically, Cody chose to schedule his major activity for his secondary job to occur around the same time as the most critical activity for his primary job.

This becomes a problem because he performed extremely poorly for his primary employer, in their most important match for the year. And let's be clear, he didn't just perform a bit below average, he was a virtual spectator to the on-field proceedings in the most important match of the season.

I think he needs to reassess how he approaches his preparations for finals matches in future, and any art shows should be scheduled either out of season or at the very least exclude the months of August and September.

Further considering this wasn't his first poor finals match, with his performance in the 2021 GF an absolute howler, it's quite disappointing that he put himself in such a position.

A wake-up call is most definitely justified.

Boo hoo

hasn’t it ever crossed your mind that The club give Cody a tick of approval doing this. Probably best for you to build a bridge and get over it AFL players can have a life outside of football FFS

Comparing a bloody art show to the funeral of Clay’s best friend is a ridiculous comparison
