agree with you, forums where only one teams fans post tend to get a tad cloying after a while. Having fans of all teams involved tends to keep most hotheads in line.

Dutchman: What do server space and bandwidth have to do with new forums? Is the site slow for you?

Dave: I'd like to give users the option of holding discussions with fans who follow the same team. If they want to skite or rant they can go to the main forum. If they want to, say, seek facts or organise a local supporters group they can post in a team-specific forum where they are most likely to get responses from people with a similar interest. Does this sound valid?
