Teammates that didn't like each other

It's widely reported that Buddy & Roughead don't get on... it's a bit like two f1 drivers vying for the number one spot. Except there is no friendly competition here at all. This feud has finally taken its toll, culminating in Hawthrorns mediocre start to the season.
Widely reported...where? From all reports I've heard, all the guys from the 04 draft (Buddy, Roughnut, Lewis) are all close mates. Buddy and Roughy carpool to training (or did if they've moved since it Roughy mentioned it last year)

Some crap on here: Tarrant is on fair terms with the Pies I'm told. Scotland is very good mates with Didak and joked about that nasty hit in 2006 (IIRC) saying he was going to egg Didaks house that night:thumbsu:. I like Scotland.

I believe Peter Eakins got under Tuddy's skin, but that was a matter of proffesional pride.

I believe the Hawks players thought Demetriou was a slimy w***er. Dunno if that means Dunstall hated him or liked him.

McCarthy was an egomaniac at Fitzroy, i think he was widely disliked wherever he played
Well the Hawks were right about Mr Ambition.

Don't worry its just a nervous cat mouthing off, you know we worry them.

More gossip?

I thought it was about team mates not liking each other.

Anyway.
What was going on in the backseat of the car when Jon Dorotich got caught in that compromising position all those years ago?
I'm sure there's a few of you older posters that know the story.

Lets just say it was his turn next next and he was keeping himself ready to receive the handball.

You're allowed to take people out in this game, it is after all a contact sport. If you're within 5 meters of the ball, you can be bumped, if the bump is strong enough to take you out so be it.

That said I'm only arguing for the sake of it. It was high, and it seemed like Milburn was willing to hit him high to ensure he was out of the game...and yes, clapping himself off was very poor too.

It was on a par with Lockett/Caven. Hip as opposed to elbow but same intent.

You're a tool.

Cummings did a sportsman day at my old footy club a few years back now and was talking about when he got traded to Port.
He said that Wanga was the first bloke on the phone and they lived together until he went to West Coast.
One of the funniest blokes you'll ever meet that day he had the room in tears.

You're a half-wit. Everyone in SA know the the full-facts about Fat Cat and Wanga's wife. The fact that they were roomies gave him the opp and makes it all the more low. Only clowns like you would believe what they hear at a sportsman's night!

Just wondering about teammates that were known to hate each other or at the least have no time for each other.

McLeod and Edwards at Adelaide is a well known feud.

Diesel Williams and David Rhys-Jones never liked each other in opposition and that carried over to when they both played for Carlton in 1992.

How about coach/player feuds?

Percy Jones continues to resent Wayne Johnston for not trying for him in 1980, stopping what he believed would have been 4 flags in a row.

One altercation doesn't necessarily mean teammates don't like each other but the Matthew Hogg/Mick McGuane altercation is one that seems to mean just that.

What other known examples can you think of?

Judd and Fevola from what I hear hate each other. Can't imagine why?

Aker and Steven Lawrence - I'm not quite sure as to why, and Akers book didnt go into specifics, but there was clearly a level of dislike from Aker towards him.
"Nothing personal, but he's the worst possible kind of human being."

The Mick Turner incident?

Turner and Barham best mates, not any more. turner not a nice man really for that incident, many years now, not sure if he redeemed himself since. Really don't care for him personally.

Collingwood during the Raines, Cloke period of time, Richmond out bidding collingwood visa versa. We also bought in Michael Richardson and Shaw from WA. At the time a certain female entertainer was very popular with the boys Raines and Richardson were very close to her. They did not see eye to eye at all and whilst their form went down so did their onfield relationship. Anyway, it was ironic that they were both sent to Essendon (how funny).

Peter Moore was up *^&%self, As a young supporter his attitude stunk and more than happy he left, really started the downfall of Hafey but never blamed himself for never performing in finals.
