Teammates that didn't like each other

By the sounds of todays interview on Triple M
Nick Davis and the whole Sydney team.

Hard to blame them, he was hated at Collingwood, hated at Sydney and I guess the only place that will ever show him love is KFC.

Nick Davis' name does come up a bit. Last year there was talk of where he was going to go to after the Swans, and Swann (from Carlton) said not Carlton and added, "not the best of blokes." Must be a pretty bad bloke if Swann was willing to go public on it

I guarantee you that Cameron Cloke is not liked at Carlton. Obviously the Setanta thing and that footage on Footy Classified when Fev kicked a goal and CC run up to give a high five and was rejected by Fev. The body language to him is evident he isn't well liked down at the Blues.
Getting outmarked/muscled/and bustled twice on Sat by blokes half a foot shorter would not have helped.

Re the West rumor. The clincher for me was always the migraine excuse when Wallace sat him on bench for 4 quarters.
When you have a migraine you dont sit in the blazing Brisbane sun for 2 hours let me tell you.

Isn't Tredders generally disliked by the Port boys?
No, not in the context of this thread. He is generally well liked and respected. But he was not universally supported for the captaincy when Primus finally realised he wasn't going to be able to play on. Brett Montgomery stirred that up (and a few other things too) when Port did not extend his contract.

Paul Williams and Nathan Buckley, when Willo went to Sydney he said he couldn't be in the same room as that ????

Buckley talks about that supposed rumour in his book. Total fabrication. Go through any highlights of them playing together and you will see them embracing after goals many times.

21 pages and not mention of David "Cartman" Calthorpe

1998 - Calthorpe vs. Barry Young

Calthorpe was having a bit on the side with Youngs missus. Sheedy let them go at it at Windy Hill one-on-one on night, loser is shipped out of the club. Calthorpe in Brisbane the next year

Saw her at the brownlow keep walking to the toilets every 20 minutes coming back rubbing her nose like she was tying to break it also heard they both dont go out much but when they do Juddy and her make the most off it

This does make sense as you would really want to keep a habit like this low-profile with the sort of media attention she gets.

What better place than at the Brownlow

Geez, she must have been desperate, I mean.......... Calthorpe

Heard a good one about Farren Ray and David King having a little dust up in a pub only a week out before Ray was signed, sealed and delivered at Moorabin. (Both unknown to where his (Ray's) future would lie)

Plugger Lockett and Peter Caven at the Swans - but really, did you expect them to get along after what had happened the year before?

Apparently noone at Freo was fond of Clive Waterhouse....nothing personal, he was just really, really lazy. But then, they all were. :p

Not sure about teamates, but some disputes between players and coaches became public knowledge over the years such as:

Shane Zantuck v Ron Barassi at Melbourne in 1981
Brad Hardie v Mick Malthouse at Footscray in 1986
Derek Kickett v Kevin Sheedy at Essendon in 1993
John McCarthy v Bernie Quinlan at Fitzroy in 1995
Corey McKernan v Dennis Pagan at North & Carlton in early 2000s
What about Leigh and Kelvin Mathews and Neville Bruns????????????

Seriously, get over it. Every player makes mistakes in their career that they regret. It was a terrible day for the club and Milburn in particular.

If you met Darren you would know he is probably one of the nicest, friendliest and humble person at the club. Has a lot of time for everyone.

Not a dog at all, and being a sniper? Please, one incident doesn't make you a sniper. People need to get over things that happened over 5 years ago.
Gee I can't get over things that happened thirty years ago!

It's widely reported that Buddy & Roughead don't get on... it's a bit like two f1 drivers vying for the number one spot. Except there is no friendly competition here at all. This feud has finally taken its toll, culminating in Hawthrorns mediocre start to the season.

I was pretty p*ssed off with Milburn's effort at the time, but I think he's got enough credits to his name that we can overlook one moment of stupidity from nearly ten years ago.

I remember reading somewhere that Ken Hunter and Jim Krakouer got into an altercation at training when they were at Claremont, culminating in Hunter having to hide out at a teammates house and call the club manager as Krakouer was parked out the front and Hunter was in fear for his life.
