You're allowed to take people out in this game, it is after all a contact sport. If you're within 5 meters of the ball, you can be bumped, if the bump is strong enough to take you out so be it.

That said I'm only arguing for the sake of it. It was high, and it seemed like Milburn was willing to hit him high to ensure he was out of the game...and yes, clapping himself off was very poor too.

Mate not only out of the game, could have bloody killed him. Was a dog act then and now.

Never felt an atmosphere like it when he clapped the crowd on the way off, he was lucky to get out of the ground alive.

Theres a difference between going under a cloud and lying abour your injury. Peter Moore lied to the Pies about his fitness in 1981, played in the GF when he shouldnt have, and cost the team the premiership.

I don't think they needed Riewoldt's permission. Lawrence stacked his car after drink driving home from a nightclub. Gehrig was also in the car.

Another good story about Lawrence is that he made a fiscally sound move in helping Libba get off a charge of clawing his face early in his career...

I know he is a legend of the club, but I've heard a number of stories about West's heightened appetite for "company". There is a physiological link between depression and heightened sex drive, but I doubt West is on his Pat Malone in terms of AFL players. McCarthy is one that comes to mind that wasn't exactly chivalrous in his dealings with the ladies.
