I've never understood why people criticise characters for being being imperfect. I know one of the appeals of this show is that it's positive, but surely if this shows tell you anything is that good people can make poor decisions and not always for reasons they fully comprehend.

A lot of people tend to think that Nate will end up at a different (perhaps rival) club that Rupert has a stake in.

If it means less Nate, I’m all for it.

The one character I just don’t care for at all.

So what I don’t get is when did Ted abandon or ignore Nate during the season.

Obviously we saw a major change in Nate attitude during the season. Him getting a big head with the press he got after a Richmond win, lashing out at the kitman. He’s issues with his father. I can’t remember an event or multiple things that Ted did to Nate that would of triggered this outburst.

not sure. Kinda feel it’s got something to do with his dad as much as Ted though. He sure did go grey quickly in the latter half of the season. Looking like Carlo Ancelotti at the end. I don’t get how a kit boy would be in the eye of his ex-boss though. Seems the exact type to be ignored

All I can think of is Ted telling Roy to take training when he couldn’t instead of Nate after he became the wonderkind.

That’s all I’ve got.

I agree... I'm glad Sam decided to stay for reasons not related to their relationship...

Thought the season finale (written by Jason Sudeikis!) was brilliant, it's perfectly set up for the third (and final) season with Rupert, Nate and Edwin Akufo to be the villains.

As a person, yes. But he has shown he is a good tactician and he will be tough to coach against... can't wait for season 3!
