Novak should be favourite in my opinion. Possibly the 2nd best clay player of all time(maybe 3rd behind Borg), gunning for the slam record(motivation big for Novak).

Novak Played lights out tennis against Karen from the tie breaker onwards.
Alcaraz second serve sits up for Novak on this surface I reckon, different to Madrid where they played in their previous encounter and Novak has seen him now. He made adjustments during that Madrid match and he’s a lot more invested in this match.

$2.70 is good odds.

Stef is Alcaraz’s bunny. Perfect matchup for Alcaraz.
Novak is not an unforced error machine like Stef. Totally different pressure and concentration.
I also think these Alcaraz/Nadal comparisons are very premature at this point. They may well turn out to be accurate but right now they are serving to give us great odds on a fired up Novak as an outsider.

i dont disagree about alcaraz being favourite but being able to bet on djokovic at 2.70 is pretty damn appealing, even if it is clay

its also worth taking into account that alcaraz just played 3 one hand backhands in a row

100% I’ve got Novak pre tournament so not touching the odds but it should be closer maybe $2.35 rather than $2.70

He’s young. Playing Novak over 5sets is the hardest test in tennis

Was always gonna be Djoker easy once he won the real final (semi final). Zverev wasn’t gonna trouble him any more than Ruud will.
