Ross Lyon might play defensive tactics but would of got Carlton to finals in 2022
With all due respect, you can't possibly know that.

If he dosen't want to be a senior coach can he at least fix our defence as an assistant
Fingers crossed Essendon goes with Ross the Boss or the liniment sniffers demand Hird come back. Will be hilarious.Carlton and Collingwood both dodged a massive bullet. Was hoping like hell one of them would get sucked in and appoint him but unfortunately they seem to have made the mature decision.

GOLD!liniment sniffers
Gun midfield but how often were they on the park together in the latter part of the season? Who are the AA calibre flankers? Still too many role players that need to build their tank, they were running both ways early in the season but couldn't maintain that level. They'll be top 6 for sure next year, probably take Collingwoods spot when they slide.Ross was never going to Carlton as he had some fallout with someone on the board there. However - 2 coleman medalists, gun midfield, AA calibre flankers, AA KPD. Ross would have pissed in top 6 with this list.
It's actually highly unlikely given your backline injuries this year. With all due respect, you can't possibly know that.
This is payback for not voting for Big bad Bob Katter in the federal election.Should 'have' never collapsed.
Docherty and Saad at half back. Plus if they could stay fit Williams and McGovern. With 2 solid key talls that's the kind of backline that wins flags.Gun midfield but how often were they on the park together in the latter part of the season? Who are the AA calibre flankers? You'll get RSI correcting everyone on here who uses "of" instead of "have" in the perfect infinitive.Should 'have' never collapsed.
100% he would have
Was thinking about this. Knowing us, yep probablyserious question,if Carlton miss finals 2023 is Voss the boss' job in jeopardy?
That's pretty accurate mate.Docherty and Saad at half back. Plus if they could stay fit Williams and McGovern. With 2 solid key talls that's the kind of backline that wins flags.
The forward flankers aren't so great but they are performing roles and Durdin and Motlop have plenty of natural improvement.
Wing and 3rd tall forward are the biggest challenge areas. The wingers improved this year but they might still be looking for upgrades. How they fit De Koning in, how they use Silvagni, whether Martin really deserves a game if he doesn't provide flexibility are all question marks. In a completely idea world I think they'd love a 6th excellent on baller with genuine pace as something different. That would provide them depth as well as a lot of rotations and positional flexibility for the current top 5 on ballers.
Lyon is a better coach than Voss. With all due respect, you can't possibly know that.
