They lower their centre of gravity to instigate a high tackle. Why don't players adjust so they're grabbing them lower rather than higher? Every player in the league knows what the Selwoods are going to do before a tackle occurs but nobody is wise enough to adjust the way they go about tackling them. They are gun players and I'm sick of everyone crying over this tactic. Attack the hips and you won't be grabbing them around the neck.

Look at the yearly differential between frees for vs frees against for West Coast over course of the last 10 years. Pretty suss if you ask me.
