The Grand Final was boring
Could not give a rats as to whom would win and the play itself was often simply dull.
Compared to Grand Finals since 2007 it was meh.
Even in 2007 at least the size of the result was somewhat interesting

Was easily the worst game of the finals series. Game had the atmosphere and skills of a NAB cup GF. Both prelims were better, as was Port vs Geelong and Richmond vs 9th.
And you know the weird thing? The media will continue with the usual bullshit of "great occasion", "deserving winners", "special moment", "Grand Final pressure", "too good when it mattered" etc
And, about five months from now, there'll be a creeping acknowledgment ... "some say the 2013 Grand Final wasn't worthy of ..." etc

We were lucky to beat the best defensive team in the competition, with the most incredible pressure of all time.
We were lucky to beat the Handbaggers the week before, after having only 10 more scoring shots.
We were lucky to beat Sydney by 54 points two weeks prior, with all the culture they bled all over us in the second half.
We were lucky to finish on top of the ladder for the second year in a row, that's true.
So lucky.
I'm counting my lucky stars I don't barrack for the Saints, who are a shambles with a coach who knows more about fertilising grass with urine than he does about football.

I quite liked the final, but I have always like RL footy. A battle of coaches and grit, so it is a bigger F you to Ro$$ that they lost.
As was 94 and 95, definitely.
Each to their own I guess, I just don't think that a low scoring game necessarily equals a boring game.
