I'll make a further announcement re: changes to the judging panel (after an appalling response last month), before the end of the month of March.

It's nice to know that Carlton supporters can grow a head.

Places them just above victims of nuclear radiation.

I believe the Collingwood runner went around to every Collingwood player early in the first quarter and said "Win this boys, and we're into the grand final next week." The Doggies players standing alongside their opponents then thought to themselves "Holy crap, is it a preliminary final?" and played accordingly.

Brilliant ploy by the Collingwood brains trust.

I've always been under the impression that winty is one of the more balanced and fair posters on BF, seldom succumbing to "trolling".

Kinda taken aback that he's regarded by opposition posters as a "troll", so much so that they've named an award after him. Now that I think about it I haven't seen him post in ages, could've signed up under a new handle I suppose. lol

The "Winty" is not about troll worthiness, although many of those nominated are truly simple trolls. The "Winty" is a celebration of "self ownage" by post or thread.
It's named after Winty for his Awesome display of "self ownage" in a thread he started which featured a link in the OP which plainly and incontrovertibly disproved the assumption his entire point was based on.

The "Winty" is a celebration of this phenomena.

Last week he made a thread on the St kilda board for all the "Essendon and Collingwood scum" because he was sick of the shit fights over Ball/Lovett. Then he makes the above thread, he would be one of the worthiest recipients of the Winty Award in its illustrious history.

Some absolutley disgraceful posts in this thread, attacking Harry O'Brien for being a role model and trying to make a difference. It's obviously out of jealousy because these people would be fat nerds that sit on their computer all day.

I watched O'Brien's interview about him going to Rio. I couldn't help but feel slightly ill at his performance.

His interview was full of cliches and comments that smacked of self-importance.

He claimed that kids in Rio dont go to sleep to the sound of their parents singing but rather to the sound of Ak47s. PLease Harry, lets not overplay things.

He then went and told a story of how he heroically went on the train despite warnings, saying "I am not a tourist". Result: he got mugged, well done Harold you courageous man.

He then went on to say that he wouldnt care if his opponent kicked 10 goals of him after seeing the problems in Rio. What a noble sentiment but clearly bull shit. Definately dont tell Mick this.

The whole interview was full of cliched images and videos ranging from him playing the tamborine looking like a rastafarian and photos with a child holding an assault rifle.

It is the bay though, the whole point of that place is to give people crap. I was expecting bay threads when I watched his interview, anyone who says to do things out of love is gonna cop it there. Sometimes they go a bit far but you can't take it seriously, about half the threads their have some collingwood trolling.

Despite the ridicilousness of comparing a close GRAND FINAL where ball was one of the best and most influential players with a ROUND 4 GAME that was over by half time .. its later pointed out to the OP that Ball may have also had some ankle problems, keeping him on the bench longer than usual.
