Real madrid have some sort of pre-deal to get Neymar in a couple of years. I understand they will bring him in when he will be a used as a starter once older players move on

I think the Papiss Cisse signing can't yet be deemed a great signing. If he excels in the EPL then it will indeed be a great signing, but, as with all players that join the EPL, you have to see whether they can perform in the league first.
Interesting to see Newcastle attract big names once again. Over the last year or 2 they have attracted a few names that have been on the wishlist of top 6 clubs at one time or another... Cisse, Ben Arfa, Santon, Cabaye. Good to see. A close, competitive league is a good league.

We got rid of the numpty responsible for ours, you've still got yours.
Besides Jo only cost around £5.5m upfront, the rest was on performances (which I'm guessing we didnt pay out a lot).

Gotta give Ashley and Llambias credit here for backing the manager. Cisse is a top, top player and I think he will be a great signing. Was over the moon waking up to the news this morning!

Hahah that is amusing. Dont even want Ben Arfa, Krul, Santon, Colo and S.Taylor. But id happily trade Andy Carroll for Ba, Cisse, Tiote and Cabaye.

As a Spurs fan I must admit I was devastated when I saw Cisse had signed for the Toon. I was really really hoping we would go after him. I think he can be a genuine EPL star.
Krul is an awesome keeper. Friedel, Cudicini ageing...Gomes out I think Krul is destined to be a 10 year Spurs keeper

Because AC would never deal with you over Kia Joorchabin. QPR are offering a big loan fee and Taiwo is getting a payrise on his current AC deal. Quite simply QPR would beat you to this signing even if you atttempted it

True but if it comes off Cisse and Ba have the potential to be the best forward pairing in the BPL.

Considering Reina's highlight reel of gaffs this season, I'd find it hard to have him in the top 10 'keepers in the league right now

I was under the impression Newcastle supporters demanded CL
Slowly but surely we will get there.
2nd year back from the Championship, think we are above expectations and the side that has been built is very impressive.
