Kaka is still one of the most marketable footballers around. That means he comes expensive, but there would be benefits to signing him.

Thought he was starting to get it together a bit at Real as well after a pretty poor start to his career.

The Skrtel stuff I think is a non-issue for many reason.

1. Skrtel came out and denied those rumours pretty strongly.

2. Why would we want to sell him coming off his best year with us, winning player of the season and forming a wonderful partnership with Agger at the back?

3. Why would we sell him to a direct rival in the Premier League and strengthen the already formidable champions?

4. We dont need to sell to buy.

5. 10-15 million is ridic and we would demand way more.

Just wont happen.

On another note, im hoping those rumours about Walcott are just that, rumours. He is too inconsistent and he is English so you have to pay through the roof for him. Much cheaper and better options in Europe than Theo. Plus we have Sterling coming through.

The start of Spurs inevitable slide backwards.

The start of Spurs inevitable slide backwards.

Tottenham's best side in 50 years has amounted to 3 top 6 finishes where they scraped 4th twice. What great heights are they sliding from precisely? In all seriousness, getting rid of Redknapp is the biggest mistake in the clubs history. As they say, 'don't mess with a good thing' and for Tottenham, this is as good as it's ever been.

Troll, troll, troll

/GB mode.

Apparently Kewell's mother in law is in poor health so fair enough, he's got to look out for his family. On another note, I always wished he'd stayed in the EPL when his contract ran out with Liverpool. Fitness issues aside, he was a quality player, one of the best left wingers in the league at the time and you always want to see those sorts of players test themselves against the best. Who knows, maybe with his injury problems seemingly under control he could be successful again back in England.

harry kewell and danny murphy linked with blackburn, source of these rumours is twitter so i'm only posting this because it's all over the site

edit: fox sports posted the rumour
Hope Harry Rumours are true. Would be good to see him back in English football.

Dunno why anyone would sign with Rovers with the state their in right now. Sorry RedAlert :p, but having Shebby Singh as your DoF is a joke

laughing stock of the association but hoping there will be some quick improvement

happy we got relegated, bit of a reality check and it'll be good to see us win a few games

Harrys wife and kids will be living in Manchester. No point in moving to England and then living on the other side of the country to them. Atleast at Blackburn hes only like 15 mins away from Manchester (assuming he doesnt actually live in Blackburn)

I'm sure if he wanted to continue his career he wouldnt mind having to travel from Manchester to wherever he was signed. Family does come first so he may end calling it quits. Isnt Bolton around Manchester also?

Itd limit him too

Blackburn
Bolton
Wigan

All seem like likely option. No way Reading would want him though. The wide areas is the one area they are very strong in IMO and well set. The only club he would start at IMO is Bolton and thats where he will most likely end up if Coyle is smart about it. The reason he is going on trial at Blackburn is because Melbourne Victory have a close working relationship with Blackburn FC and they probably organised the trial for him
