It was reserved for a young fan who was registered as a player for a day, as part of the Starlight Foundation thing where the charity makes dreams come true for very ill children.

It's astounding. 5 consecutive 100-gamers, 3 of them 200-gamers, plus Reeves on 83. An average of 12 years service from Dugdale onwards, with Lachie's 9 years and 125 games the lowest. Give it to pick 4.

I can think of at least 2 numbers that hold greater weight, but I'm not knocking the sentiment around the six.

Yeah, in my time 27 (Dwyer, Greig, Crocker, Garner) and 9 (Cable, Larkin, Sinclair, Swallow) spring to mind as the greatest NM numbers, but the track record of 6 is quite something.

4, 2, and 7 have had a pretty good run, too.
