301 pages lets hope we can get to the same number of games that Goodes has played 365, that would be ironic.
Has he specifically said that?
Anyway, why is it up to YOU to determine whether there is or isn't a racist element here? What qualifies you to do that?

So we can have an 'Indigenous Round' of footy -provided the indigenous players are all grateful and keep their mouths shut. Okay -now I get it.How about he leave the game then and become a politician?
When are politicians speaking infront of the general public? When was the last time a politician was booed repeatedly whenever they tried to speak exactly?
How about he leave the game then and become a politician?
And what about the people who are booing him because of race? Those who join in know about it, and are approving it by joining in.The majority are not booing him because of his race, if he woke up and smelled the roses once in a while he'd know this.
sigh....So we can have an 'Indigenous Round' of footy -provided the indigenous players are all grateful and keep their mouths shut. Okay -now I get it.
Like his press conference after the "ape" incident people are most offended because they don't read past the headlines, listen to shock jocks who selectively quote some sections only, or are poorly educated and cannot comprehend complex discussion. Here's Goodes' speech when he accepted Australian of the Year. Which apparently turned so many people against him. Go on then. Which part of this offends you so much?

How do you know anyone is doing it for that reason? And what about the people who are booing him because of race? Those who join in know about it, and are approving it by joining in.

Uh...question time? When are politicians speaking infront of the general public?
So... a big fan of Goodes until he started becoming more vocal on indigenous issues?
"I liked Adam Goodes until he started acting all Aboriginal"
Opposition supporters will keep booing while they get a reaction that helps their team
Boo him and he reacts and it puts him (and his team mates) off playing at his best - they will keep booing
Boo him and he ignores it, kicks 10 goals and Swans win - they will stop booing
At the footy! When are politicians speaking infront of the general public?
There's not enough opinionated old rich white people on the 6 o'clock every night?I wish us male, middle-class and white people had someone like Adam Goodes to stand up for our rights.
Yeah nah, Hird is the last thing this thread needs. Goodes and Hird don't belong in the same sentence, except this one.Where did I say that?
I just said that Goodes has tarnished his reputation as a great player by his behaviour in recent years like Hird has.
It's OK to say that about Hird though as he isn't indigenous, apparently all of Goodes behaviour is beyond reproach due to his race.
No.I think Anthony Mundine is the biggest flog in Australian sport. Maybe in world sport. If he miraculously played an AFL game next year and I went to a game and booed him, would that make me a racist?
So being a great player and all round nice guy that Goodes is he decided to do a war dance at paying patrons of the game he is employed by but never had to face the AFL HR department for threatening people with harm.
Seems fair he can call everyone racist then.
What would people tell their 10 year old if they said that they were told they shouldn't boo Adam Goodes but they can Boo Joel Selwood and they asked what's the difference between Selwood and Goodes ?
He pointed out a young girl, yes it was a split second decision he made after being called an ape. What would you have done in the moment?
My take on his views are that he's a proud Australian he is high profile and like many high profile figures he felt he has an obligation to raise awareness to a big issue that we all face and he personally has had to face over the years. He unlike many indigenous Australians has the opportunity to be heard and speak for those that don't have a voice. The invasion day comment has been wildly blown out of context, I would suggest reading the full statement to those that are just following the leader.
And what about the people who are booing him because of race? Those who join in know about it, and are approving it by joining in.
