A real Goody-ball game that. Lots of slow bombs down the line. Ugly as **** but good on them. Shame we hadn't seen more of that grit earlier in the year. Some good signs from the likes of Gall, Campbell; Chaplin and Gillard much improved after that Essendon disaster
Campbell finally looks to be hitting her straps. Going well that Gal.
Gall really looks good in the aerial contests.

And our ruck looks good as well. Is it Rhia Watt. Anyway it looks good for after Lauren Pearce.

McNamara is getting better with her foot skills, and decision making.
Denby Taylor looks the goods.

Goldy needs to be our pressure small forward with her closing speed.

Alyssa Bannan I would like to see her only start forward for the 1st Qtr... then play higher up the ground searching for ball, and closing opposition thrusts thru 2nd and 3rd Qtrs.
And back to the forward-line in the last Qtr, as the girls tire out.

I feel pleasantly surprised by the newbies coming thru.

Now after 3 good wins, watch them get soft this week, and trip up.

"MELBOURNE may be bolstered by the return of two Demons this week, with Blaithin Mackin and Lauren Pearce both potential inclusions for Saturday’s clash against Richmond." from the MFC site. Colvin will miss .
'O Oh'...
Don't stuff about with winning formulas.

Mackin OK... but don't stuff up our new cohesion in our tall brigade. Lauren Pearce should wait another week.

Our talls have been a big difference for us this past few weeks... making us much more potent, and imv causing oppositions some extra worry.

Leave Pearce until the Hawks game the following week, to come in fresh for the Cairns trip. Maybe even two rucks up there.?
Do the girls have a Sub in they're games.?

Anyway this week is Richmond... Don't get comfy girls.
We have to WIN all from here on.

Bannan has been in much better form since the midway point of the year
Seemed to get a good confidence hit from the GWS game onwards. Much more involved.

Ok start, letting them through the guts a bit too easy. Feel our forward line is very tall but Zank and Banno doing some good pressuring
