RNO's a fantastic site for all reality shows, not only does it have episode recaps but also opinion based articles on what people could've/should've done differently etc. Very handy if you miss an ep or crave spoilers like I sometimes do!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 Episodes in and all i can tell this series is gonna be just as good as the other 4 series

In this episode we had:

- Car trouble - people getting bogged a flat tire

- Someone got an electric jolt from a wire fence,

- A major meltdown at an airport over ticketing - Alliances broken, Charla using her status to get an advantage

- An amazing roadblock - chocolate anyone?

- A great detour - parasailing off a mountain

- A sad elimination - Jim/Marsha - All they had to do was book a flight and stick with it and they would still be there

Plus throw in the twin's stupidity at swimming across to the pit stop when they could have walked and you had a great episode

2 classics last night.
1/-Midget and the cuz in the car trying to get out of reverse the brothers drive past and call out B$TCH and with a blonde look on her face the cuz turns and says who was that they called me a B$TCH[words to that affect]
her reaction was priceless lol.
2/-If ever there was a blonde moment on this game it would be the twins swimming to the finish.Classic.lol.

Roadblock was great, the Detour was ridiculous. What nitwit would have chosen the bikes?

Got new respect for the brothers after the "bitch" as they drove past Mirna. Who grates on me more everytime I see her, I've never seen anyone that can whine like her. As for her cousin, she sits there saying I don't want sympathy for my condition and then uses the I'm a midget, i can't run, "I need a doctor" to get help and sympathy.

The twins are god awful. Get over the fact that Chip sat in the taxi with you! It did not turn nasty! I almost died with laughter when they swam to the pit stop and Phil (the host) was laughing at them.

The game was lost for the father daughter team when they missed the flight. An hour difference was their end but they fought back. They were unlucky with the

The chocolate challenge did change the order of teams- pure luck with it too. I felt sorry for the brothers struggling through but I can't see them getting much further.

The roadblock only advantages/disadvantages a team if they do different ones. Everyone gliding was the smart move.

Mirna is more annoying than the midget cousin- her whole attitude and whinging is just pathetic.

Brandon and his girlfriend who finished 3rd look the goods in my view.

I hope the twins go the next round

Shame that Jim & Marsha got rolled all because of a screw up in the flights, they didn't deserve that sort of luck. I've had enough of the midget & her sister now, the pair of them could whinge for the USA and Charla who seems to want to be treated like everybody else sunk to new lows in asking for a Doctor so she could get on that flight. The brothers were unlucky at the roadblock but a great call when diriving past Mirna! My new favourites are Chip & Kim, Chip is having a ball and he's winding up the twins something shocking and loving every minute of it, great to watch! Can't wait for next week.

The yield is where you stop a team of your choice until the sand runs out in the hourglass. Each team can only use it once. It would be stupid to use it now- even JIm and Marsha would not have avoided last place even if they used it. Part of the trick is knowing how far in front/behind your opponents are.

I would use it during the last 2-3 stages.

Pretty good episode last night. Americans and dogs don't mix . Agree with everyone else about those whinging twins. Can't really pick a favourite in this one

Don't know if Seven will persist with the 8:30 timeslot much longer, a distant fourth (9 had 60% more viewers and came 3rd) in 8:30 ratings last night, down 19% from last week. Perhaps they'll move it to 9:00 to get Kath & Kim out of the way. Clearly nothing will beat it so put a 30 minute show on at 8:30 and don't sacrifice 9:00-9:30.

It will be interesting to see how the yield will be used. As it hasn't been seen in the last two episodes. It will either be the best thing to happen tot he show or the worst.

I'm backing the midget and her whiny cousin at the moment, they're great value. Now the cousin in particular is obviously really annoying but in an entertaining way (love how she's so inept and makes the midget do most of the work, plus it's comical how she's in love with the host, trying to impress him, "How does my hair look?"). BTW, here's a warning - the article on the show on The Age website has a photo of these two with a passport-style stamp that says what position they finished. I don't know why the age would put that up. hopefully no one else has come across it.

Up on last week while everything else went down, but still a distant fourth 8:30-9:00. 9 only 50% ahead this week. With daylight savings from this week the numbers will drop even more

I know many people who watch Kath & Kim and tape TAR for later viewing. I for one taped TAR because there was somethign else happening etc. Surely the popularity of this show (TAR) is self-evident. The truth is NO SHOW that Channel 7, 9 or 10 can put on that will beat K&K so why bother trying. C7 should leave TAR alone and concentrate on winning time slots where they may have a chance.

Well I thought it would rate a lot better than it is, a distant fourth isn't good, although it's less distant than it has been for most of the year. With only 4 weeks of ratings left I can't see them making any significant changes. I think they'll just concede they're going to lose Thursdays for the rest of the year, and probably go with one of the two big US shows they have for Thursday next year, at least try to knock off 10 even if they can't beat ER and K&K
