As it stands at the moment only essendon have been rumbled and only Essendon are facing doping charges, and that is fact, go and peddle your everyone else is doing it on the Essendon campaigners board.

again, try reading what I said:

1) clubs are still not taking this issue seriously enough, and from what Ive heard that includes ours (in terms of introducing the required due diligence procedures and oversights)

2) EFC is not the only club. We know the Demons have had issues, and there are strong rumours about two other recently successful clubs (and this is ignoring the WCE issues in the 90's)

saying its more than an EFC problem doesnt absolve them from blame, it simply means people need to get their heads out of the sand and stop thinking this won't happen to their club "because we ain't EFC"

Thats a separate topic of discussion if the clubs dont have supplement standards...
this is about bumbers cheating and getting caught...while trying to muddy the waters so they could evade detection

When those teams get ****ed then worry about them. As far as I'm aware this is an EFC issue because they're the ones who have done the wrong thing and are now trying to muddy the waters.

Melbourne should be getting investigated too.

TBH I don't really care about the other clubs, if they fall its their problem. My concern is our club. The way I heard us talking about it was something along the lines of "well, we looked at our supplements program, and we don't think we have the same issues, so we are confident all is good". This is the sort of stuff that I'd love to hear in my gig, because it reeks of complacency (and complacent clients who fall over were my money train).

Melbourne and the GC should both be being investigated, but the AFL is desperate to contain this as much as possible. Just like the illicit drugs and self reporting, they actually don't want the convictions.

Forgot about GC. My care factor is pretty low though. It's gone on far too long. It will be interesting to see other clubs approaches if EFC get hammered. Bet they change pretty quickly. If they get off nothing will change.

from my experience, a few will make wholesale changes, most will make a few superficial changes, and a few will do SFA

its amazing how many companies always assume the problems of another org will never occur to them

Just keeps on getting better.

Gatto ‘spruiked Charter’s drugs story’
UNDERWORLD figure Mick Gatto says he was enlisted by the key witness in ASADA’s case against Essendon players to help sell information....

Published By: Herald Sun - Today

On the HTB people are thinking his statement must be made up to only be coming out now. This move shows what his real motive is though. Broker the sale of this supposed info at the 11th hour and he gets two benefits. Firstly, the players legal reps have SFA time to check and validate whether what he is selling is fair dinkum. Secondly, his info will have no better price that it will now, right before a do or die tribunal case.

Will be interesting to see if EFC, the players, or the coteries make an offer

& thus my intense hatred for the tools out at the hanger ramps up further - will this shit ever end!

you don't think they have the right to access any info relevant to their case?

having ASADA only provide the info it deems relevant to its prosecution may exclude information that a defence could use to argue its case

Show me the money and i'll change my story, I wonder why Charter is so suddenly interested in getting the bombers off, wouldn't have received a phone call from a friend could he.

I think the answer is obvious, he is hoping to get four hundred thousand reasons

Of course they have some right (I don't get law) - I'm just sick of it.

LOL @ Shane Charter... What a sold citizen!

Don't disagree with that.

FWIW this isn't a legal case, so they don't get the same discovery rights that you do in the courts. However IMO its about fairness. A defendant has the right to confront his accuser on equal terms
