Do you reckon people go up a few minutes early to avoid the queues at quarter time and half time?

That wasn't what happened. People were shuffling along all the time during game time to get snacks and drinks. It was like they weren't really interested in the game but just attended because there was nothing on TV that day.

The crowd seemed engaged and passionate.

Just that in the Bradman stand there are kiosk's wall to wall on the concourse. You can get food or drink all game with barely a line other than HT.

Made it too convenient to get refreshments and all game people were up and down. Stadium musical chairs.

Melbourne are shit and massively overrated by the media which some fans seem to buy into. Without Lever May is next to useless as is the rest of their defence, they have no forward line, and Petracca is the only mid that is any good this season.

If anyone seriously thought Melbourne would win this game then they are deluded.

If you see your club in future years is playing in Sydney I would highly recommend making the trip.

Brilliant city. So much better than Melbourne in every possible way. Traffic flows better, so much to see and do.

SCG is a great stadium, so easily accessible from the city. If anything so many kiosks for food and beverages makes it too convenient. Never swiveled so much in a game letting campaigners get in and out of aisles.


Don't post on the board much any more. Football is corrupt beyond repair. Avoiding Gosha's posting merely the cherry on top.

As for the traffic, try commuting Mon-Fri haha. Absolutely agree there's more to do and see up here though. Have always thought that.

That's what I've always done. I swear half the games I've been to have been raining sideways though and then it became not much fun haha.

The pub crawl up from Central on a Saturday arvo game is always good.

2nd is a pretty good result considering our fixture so far and the injury list we've been working with.

Players mostly coming back in the next fortnight and the fixture to lighten up a bit through the second half of the season. Looking very rosy.
