truly embarrassing from Sydney. Bullied and outworked by the lions that quarter. Ashcroft is brilliant.

And they’ve got his brother lined up as a certain top 3 pick.

Tough watch. Not shocked to lose but I didn’t expect the same lack of effort as 2022. We have no plan for when the game isn’t on our terms.

Not sure what needs to be done with this group but hard to see how they get over these scars and actually win a flag.

Still plenty to work with there at the club and more opps at winning it.

Well done to McDonald for getting Sam Reided 2 years ago and then Sam Reiding Taylor Adams while clearly injured.

A Leon Davis medal for you mate, with Amartey close behind.

Fair play to Brisbane, I thought they’d spurned their chance when they were squeezed out of top 4 late in the season. They’ve had a hell of a finals series and have backed it up 3 weeks in a row on the road. Deserving winners.

As for Sydney however, geez what a capitulation yet again. As a contest this has been poor to watch.

couldn't split them this morning. Thought sydney might have the advantage with Grundy vs fort. Didn't think they would shame themselves again. Margin flatters them too. Was hoping for a close one and didn't care who won. Still need a big dominant forward to win a grand final in most cases, and Sydney's don't cut the mustard.

The "star rucks" of the comp don't win many flags. An overrated position of the ground.

Saying the ruck position on the ground is 'overrated' smacks of pencil neck ignorance on the game that was only ever watched from the sidelines.

It's a pivotal position on the field. Whether or not it is worth paying to the level of the higher salaries on long contracts is definitely debatable though.

The club needs to give an official apology to the one and only Katy Perry for flying half way around the world to witness that rubbish after doing her job properly like a professional.

I think it might have been that alleged $5 million she was paid. 😂

Smacked their ruck around the ground and in hitouts and lost by 10 goals.
The ruck battle is largely insignificant compared to that of the midfield and off v def matchups.
