If I were a Bulldogs supporter, I would be asking why they didn't have numbers back at the end. When the ball came out of their 50, it was basically 1v1 ahead of the ball. If Cordy had some help when the ball hit the deck, they don't lose.

The recruit I hated getting the most has been a beaut. Isaac Smith probably extended his career quite a bit coming to us.

Dear Blues. That mega bucks you’re spending on two HBF’s. You let one slip to us playing better footy for less.

They are very good players who haven’t had the best of starts at Carlton. But at 4-8, not many players have been performing. The only player from Geelong that I am disappointed we don’t still have and we gave him away for nothing is Zach Tuohy. The Henderson trade the year before ended up being a huge win for the club. Go back in to trade with Geelong and it’s like, oh good. We ended up trading the very consistent Tuohy for someone who had played 11 games in his last 3 years at Geelong in Billie Smedts. What could go wrong?

'scray looked better coming out of last night. Had their first-choice ruckman out, along with Dunkley/Treloar. Naughton was subbed out at half-time.

Cats would have cooler heads in a finals matchup you'd think. Duncan is a huge loss for them. Selwood surely cops more than a wrist slap.

I wish our coach told our boys to bring the mouth guards and go at it during the bye week. Might get a response out of them

David Teague isn’t a thug.

He also doesn't appear to be an AFL level coach.

Maybe but being a 4 x Premiership coach does not not justify Clarko or anyone else using those type of methods anymore.

It's the not bloody 70s or 80s anymore when this kind of method was all the rage.

The poor kid was concussed. How on Earth can you condone that friend ?

I wonder why you would stop at the bye round? Could it because, I don’t know….. a player might get a brain damaging concussion?

Shit happens. I doubt this was the first and only boxing session held by an AFL club this year.

Players get concussed in match simulation from accidents. And if Hawthorn are telling the truth there was clear instructions to not throw head punches and this was an accident that he ducked into.

Shit outcome. But good decision to send a message across the club that we are getting in the ring and having a solid physical week.

The message would be bring the mouth guards and get into the ring and that's where it sets the tone for the week/rest of the year. Once they are actually about to get started pretty clear rules around what can and can't be done should be given and apparently were if they're telling the truth.

I am surprised this is your stance on this considering you disliked Mourinho because he was a bully.

It wasn't because he was a bully, it was because we played boring shit football that didn't get results. The fact that he couldn't get results and wasn't overly likeable made him very easy to dislike.

Clarkson gets results. He has explained that they were told not to throw haymakers and avoid punches to the head. A body shot was ducked into and rattled Lewis, but didn't knock him out. Like I said they wouldn't be the only club to do sparring. And they wouldn't have said go nuts with each other in there trying to get KO victories.

You're missing the key part that they aimed for the head..
