I don’t know, that could have happened but it does seem hard to believe. I would say that every playing group in the AFL would be supportive of their teammate. Hard to believe that actually happened.

Her comment about how not many other industries would let players leave at a time like that is incredibly out of touch too. I dunno many industries that would prevent someone from being at the birth of their child, and if they did it's an industry I'd leave pretty quickly.

6 weeks after the birth not during their birth.

Whilst mum and babies are healthy theres obviously something not right for the call to be made to head back.
