Lunch breaks in ODIs?

Technically they still have them for the all day games, but yeah, whatever it's called.

Ridiculous rule though, can you imagine if it started raining, NZ haven't faced enough overs yet to constitute a match.

"He's just afraid, I think." Harsha Bogle calls out the reason Stuart Broad has gone from a very handy lower order bat to a joke.

He was getting out of the way against us, wouldn't get in behind it, weak as piss.

Ah I see. So if the game starts in the morning, then they take a lunch break.

That is a shit rule. Play the 50 overs, have a bite to eat and play the last 50 FFS.

Johnson destroyed them mentally on every level.
Just imagine what the Hawks did to the COLAs then imagine 5x the mental anguish for what Johnno did to the Poms. :D

let's recap the carnage (Tony Greig voice) from that Ashes series....

Ended the test careers of KP, Trott, Swann, Carberry and Prior (almost).

Mentally ****ed up Broad.

Now watch them doctor the pitches to make them 'competitive' in the ashes:rolleyes:

Five wides to win it ...

Yeah, but how? They used to have Swann, and dried up the pitches in 2013 to suit him. But Lyon is better than any spinner they have now. Greentops for Anderson? Good luck!
Could very well go dry again, it would benefit Ali but with the tendency to have the practice wickets alongside, it would also make the grounds abrasive to aid reverse swing which they're better at than us

We're not going to get rolled by this rabble unless Clarke's back/hammys go again and Mitchell Johnson trods on a stray ball, and even then they'd struggle tog et a tied series.
I agree. Rogers should do well given he's good in the conditions. I'd pick someone like Bird for the squad, he plays on the most English like conditions at Hobart.

Knowing the poms they'll doctor it as they know they're absolutely ****ed otherwise.

With the prospect of a washout tomorrow, we could end up 2nd in the group. Most likely would be a meeting with Pakistan.
