My Aunt just passed away tonight.
She had been suffering from Alzeheimer's for about 15 years ...
Lost another beloved Aunt 18 months ago.
Bit of a rough night, staying over at Mum's to console her. She is very upset.
Dreading the funeral in a couple of days. I am always a mess at those dreadful events.

Thanks again to everyone for their support and condolences.
We are burying my Aunt tomorrow, and that is going to be really hard.
The men in my family and culture are meant to be stoic and strong at funerals (it's an unspoken rule) but seeing my Mother break down and my other female relatives crying and in tears once we say our final goodbyes at the cemetery always gets to my heart and I end up a mess.
Wish I had a heart of stone/ice running in my veins sometimes. My emotions often get the better of me

Nope. Need to be strong and stoic for the family. Plus i don't think the Imam at The Mosque would be impressed ...
Really dreading it though. I want to get my **** sorted for my Mother tomorrow..Everytime she is in pain/crying, a piece of me dies inside.

I feel really good today and in the Chritmas spirit donating some perfecty good quality dining chairs i don't need to goodwill. I hope someone who desperately needs them gets them.
