If the current rate of high scoring continues/increases in the NBA, its possible someone will beat it in the future, but not for a very very long time

It's probably more attainable than Plugger's all time goal scoring record in footy, that is something I am certain will never be broken (least in our lifetimes)
Cam Thomas in 2025

Despite the increase in scoring no one is on track or even close

Luka is as generational of a talent as you can get, dominated from day 1, ultra high usage rate, no significant injuries so far and even he isn’t on track.

I’ve seen some stat nerds break it down far better than I ever can but I’m convinced none of us will ever see this record broken

When Kareem got up after he was passed in points I just imagined the old man who leaves the retirement village and gets lost on the corner.

Amazing achievement the bloke is just a freak he looks better now then he did 2 years ago.

The Davis stuff was real strange then the I love you stuff on the bench with Davis not really giving him much just adds to it all.

Seriously Westbrook is a disgrace.

Westbrook is annoying and I am not a fan, but he was the only Laker (including Lebron) who actually tried his guts out and tried to get The Lakers and Lebron the win

Darvin Ham deserves more shade on this board tbh, when Stan 'Ron Jeremy' Van Gundy is critical of your coaching and lack of time out choices late when the game was there to be won, you know you have problems.

In all honesty, seemed to me that Westbrook was the only senior Laker out there (I'll cut their kids some slack) tonight who wanted to honour and respect Lebron ...

Never thought I'd see the day when the NBA made the AFL commission look like media-shy professionals.

Also never thought I'd see the day when I'd feel eternally grateful to the OKC Thunder, but here we are.

Apparently some scoring record was also broken which always seemed unlikely, but it's still the most believable thing that happened today.

He just turns it over way to much, I can't wait to see what the next contract he gets offered.

I'm a huge LBJ fan boy that was awful today, I'm not sure who came up with that shit.

Only in the USA.

Isiah Thomas will not have a role in the Phoenix Suns front office, a spokesperson for Mat Ishbia said on Tuesday.

The news refutes a tweet from Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report earlier in the day.

Ishbia, who assumed control of the Suns on Tuesday, is looking to make a "major and immediate impact" on the team.

The trades they wanted were laughable so no surprise. They aint getting Van Vleet or Siakam for Dinwiddie/Finney Smith at all.

Gut is telling me Kevin Durant/Jaylen Brown swap about to happen. Brown OUT today and rumor mill in overdrive about it. Also looking like Tatum playing at SG today with Boston choosing to start Hauser and not another guard despite having plenty of options . Think its a smart move for Boston. Brown is just not a Kevin Durant when its said and done
He aint, but Durant is 31 and injury prone at the moment. Give me a younger Jay Brown over an old Durant any day.

Could the nets flip ben Simmons if kd leaves for an aunonby/siakim type player. Can't see how they can continue with Simmons and Claxton. Simmons can only play with a 3pt shooting center (Brooke lopez) imo. Nets could flip any additional picks from Boston to Toronto for either guys. Brown also has 2 more years left so who knows what he does near his contract ending.
Ben Simmons has no trade value
