We pumped them at Xmas and lost in OT with an all bench starting lineup. Having said that, the way we’re going, the last match up is shaping to be a blow out.

My GmSc race is currently

1. Jokic
2. Tatum
3. Embiid
4. Giannis
5. Luka

Embiid closing fast but about 6 wins behind Jokic right now. Mainly because he missed games early in the year.

Recency bias says Embiid but its a full season award and Jokic was incredible for the majority of the year and will probably hold the lead.

That is how it works in the nba.

That’s a copout. You don’t drop games @ home to a lottery team with #1 seed on the line. Truth is we don’t know what we’re getting from night to night now & we have fallen away from the leading pack of contenders.

I was 'meh' when we got him as part of the Davis trade. Won me over.

Is the kind of player you have to watch to appreciate. Just hope he stays injury free, guys like him are susceptible to injuries and shorter careers.

It'll depend who is healthy, the gaps are the top of the East are not so big. Embiid is also a counter to the Bucks' defensive scheme, which is otherwise elite against the chaff of the league.

Never bought the 'Bucks are in trouble' line from earlier in the season though. Was pretty obvious they were playing the end game, waiting for Middleton, Jingles and Crowder. Jrue and Bropez also having elite seasons.

It's all about peaking at the right time though. We looked similar in 2019 before the Raptors peaked massively in the Playoffs and won it all.

In 2021 we were just there abouts, found our way to the 3rd seed and peaked in the Playoffs to win it all.

Celtics for mine can still have that kind of peak that stops us from going to the Finals again.
