To be fair, I think I saw a fly land on his nose. That must have been traumatic.
When I saw the four challengers, I thought for sure that Nathaniel would be first one through and Lara the second.

Leigh is planning on pimping Lara out.
I noticed a poster for some women's mag in a window this afternoon. It was about Biggest Loser out of the house. Something about tears and breakups. I'd say it is due to come out next week after the finale.
Leigh and Lara or one of the others who maybe wasn't happy in their marriage and is getting attention on the outside?

We can run with that rumour for another few days.
Shannon slipping it to Lara, Lara is not getting emotional because she is regressing, she is just waiting to tell Leigh he is out after finale.
Shannon has been hard on Leigh the whole show about manning up in order to deserve Lara and even a week ago was suggesting that maybe now they didn't need to get married as a way to hold on to each other.
It all adds up.*
* Probably not, but it keeps some level of interest going.
On a separate note, out of the ones left, I don't like Leigh, don't like Sarah and don't like Nathan. Kelly is okay but does not have enough weight loss unless she loses heaps between end of show and finale. Looks like Emma is the only choice left now.
As far as the families go, Challenors are no hope because of Greg and also Damien who needed to lose 100kg to give them a shot. Moons a shot only if the others have worked their guts out on the outside. Very unlikely. Duncans are probably going to be held back by Jarrod. So Westrens for the win. If Leigh wins the whole thing, and the Westrens win the family weigh in, then they get the bonus as well.

As a viewer who has kept one eye on the series (never really watching a full ep from beginning to end, but still would like to see how it ends), when is the finale??? Is it this week (Sunday?), or later???

As a general note I'd say the format of 4 families, each in a team, has been a failure. Half the amusement of the show has been the shifting loyalties of contestants. With 4 families it was quickly established who liked or didn't who, and it hasn't changed much throughout. I think the couples format worked best.
Or if you are going to have 4 teams then split the 4 families amongst them. That'd be better with contestants having to try to justify to team members why to save their family member on the other team - potential for lots of bitchiness as team and family loyalties collide.

Thoughts:
Westrens
Lara looked fantastic but had not lost much since leaving. Wasn't there a month since they all left and the finale? Charlene overtook her during this time.
Charlene is trim and taut. Extremely good effort.
Craig has lost all of his weight and looks fit.
Leigh probably needs to get to the gym and put a few kg back on in muscle.
Duncans
Sarah Jane - is pretty short so was always going to get a fairly low number up. Good job.
Jarrad - let them down big time. If he did what Leigh did, then the Duncan's would have won it all.
Meg - looked pretty hot actually. Very happy for her.
Emma - geez, her hubby is suddenly batting above his average. Awesome.
Challenors
Nathaniel - he got the job done. Has no weight left to lose and now needs to add muscle.
Joe - did what he needed but didn't lose anything after leaving the house.
Greg - well we knew he would be a comparative failure and he didn't surprise.
Damien - he actually looked smaller than his current weight suggests. No way he looks 150kg still, not to me anyway. Lost 80kg but it looks like he struggled on the outside.
Moons
Sarah - mediocre during the show, mediocre weight loss given the opportunities afforded her. Was far too satisfied losing 2.5-3kg each week.
Jodie - looks good but modest weight loss and did nothing after leaving the house.
Rebecca - looks really really good and even passed Jodie. Top effort.
Kellie - wow, looked hot hot hot in that dress but that might be just my taste (and age).

Seasons highlight for me was Sunday night when potential serial killer Nathanael psyched himself and punched through a small piece of “plaster board” then bragged how he couldn’t believe he had smashed a board….lol. A 10yo with a glove on would break that. Seriously bad.
And Jarrod what a weak prick. All the bragging and boasting when he was there, and he then went on and lost the smallest % of the entire group 29% Cost them 100K
And Emma looked soooooo hot.
All in all, worst series to date, terrible personalities, to much stupid Ninja Warrior shit, To much crying, 6/10 but i will be looking forward to the next season.
