There's certainly an aspect of this, but any other player/club in the history of the world that has manipulated like this has ultimately been called out and the umpires go hard the other way. It's strange it hasn't happened for them. And the FK counts ignore their throwing of the ball.
I agree it's obviously trained as you see, Treloar, Stringer etc continuing to do it after they leave the club.

Except that the umpire hatred of us is equal to the favouritism to the dogs. Were as many frees behind as they are in front. But you don't see adelaide fans complaining that they got unfairly favourable treatment or people starting royal commission threads about the umpiring bias against us.

These umpires are really ****ing us over again... I mean we've won the free kick count in every game for the last 6 years but only have 1 flag to show for it. Although it was a glorious day. Swans supporters seem to have taken it well and moved on.
