the pies whining about having a few injuries when theyve had one of the least all year is hilarious

always excuses

wobble wobble
The least injuries all year?

Remember the 6 week stretch where we didn't have a player over 6 foot 4?

But when you keep winning games, everyone forgets about the adversity you faced. Those wins set up our season, and allowed us to cruise now with an eye on the real stuff.

Time to put a fat red line line through Collingwood. Very ordinary list that has overarchieved for nearly 2 years.

Without Darcy Moore the backline looks like a bunch of local footballers. Forward line is bottom 4. Midfield rotations lack quality. Depth issues everywhere.

Most alarming is the sheer number of below-average footballers they roll out each week - Last night Ryan (who?), Lipinski, Cox, Markov, Ginnivan, McCreery, Hoskin-Elliot, Frampton & Murphy.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they finish 14th in 2024.

Melbourne or Carlton probably favourites now. However wont be ruling out Lions if they face Melbourne in the GF.

Collingwood will have to go against recent history to win.

No premier in the last 10 years have dropped three of their last five H/A games.

Collingwood’s forward line has produced the third most points per game in 2023. Currently the only line currently holding up their end of the deal.

unless blues finish 4th, we have to go through bris in bris at some point. thatll be a bridge too far you would think

winner of collingwood qualifying final and bris will be the grand finalists
Perhaps, but I have a good feeling they could surprise at least one side in a semi. Then again I don't see Brisbane stumbling as heavy favourites in a knockout match like they did in earlier years, so you might be right.

No love for Essendon?

Fri Night - Essendon beat Collingwood say 22.13.145 to 4.7.33
Sat night - Geelong Win
Sun night - Carlton beat say GWS 24.21.165 to 5.1.31

Essendon make the 8

If that happens Carlton will beat them by 200+ in the first final

I would say Melbourne are favourites

We know Brisbane have at times wobbled in finals, but it does add intrigue they now have a pretty healthy recent record against the Dees away from the Gabba

A Melbourne v Brisbane GF would be awesome - I think on the biggest day Melbourne would have too many match winners (Trac, Gawn, Oliver, Viney)

Considering Cox hasn't missed 6 games in a row all season, no I don't. :) When was it?
