It could be further argued that Graham is just doing his job the best he can and using this information from Kane to help him in his chosen career and his family prosper.

Nick Maxwell found himself in strife for a casual remark at a family gathering which ended up in a third hand bet being placed. On recent form Kane blurts pretty well everything to his father who broadcasts it.

I don't have any problem with Kane talking to his dad about club happenings. That's perfectly normal to talk to your dad about these kind of things. If he is doing as a way to leak information, then sure. But no one here knows one way or the other.

Its likely his dad deliberately leaking this information that is the problem for mine. Once again I don't know the facts. But I do know his dad uses the information, which he simply should not.

He should be able to talk to his dad, and his dad should know to keep it confidential or undermine the trust between his son and the club.

If his dad can't keep a private conversation private, Kane should stop going to him.

This is a rubbish comment. I believe Kane is, and always has been, a team Player and I would like to see any evidence which suggests otherwise. His mature and professional acceptance this season of his demotion is case in point.

The real point to be made, I believe, is that he does not have the requisite skill or ability to adapt to the modern game. This is nothing to do with selfishness or attitude and everything to do with capability. I hope he can transform himself but I think it's unlikely. If it came down to hard work, positive thinking and determination he would be the game's best player.

Obviously we cannot take you seriously, there is so much bullshit in your post.

Kane's post season attitude has stunk, why does he now class himself as a Glenelg player?

Why is he happy to play out his Port contract at Glenelg?

Why does every bit of club communication passed onto Kane find its way to 5AA?

Kane refused to be traded, that is his right, but why does he make his life so difficult with us if he refuses to go elsewhere?

Kane's intransigence regarding his playing style during 2011 makes me believe his is focusing on himself rather than the needs of the team.

I believe he has burnt our club, that is unforgivable, akin to the actions of Bob Enright, Peter Hofner & Adam Heuskes.

I really hope kane comes out and sticks it up some of us internet heroes.

For people to sit here and suggest that he really would rather play at glenelg than port is a sad thing. I'm betting he's hurting given how obsessed with footy he appears. I'm betting he's making the best of a bad situation for himself - i'm sure its hard being told that the way you have been taught to play has become redundant. Anyone else here ever been dropped ?

Lets get behind him and actually start hoping that he can improve himself and indeed the team rather than circling like sharks for our piece of flesh.

Important sure recently retired players you love the club and have given all they can (like petts) will be at peace now given he Wilkinson no longer be judged by people that only ever know half the stories.

Oh FFS, he's not a 12 year old girl, he's a grown man.

Life is full of roadblocks, successful people seek ways to overcome them, others sulk and cry about the injustice of it all.

Have any of us here ever been made redundant, or sacked, from a job?

Did they end up on the dole for the rest of their life?

I bet most in that situation learnt and overcame, they got another job.

Kane has to learn and overcome, or he could sit back, cry to dad & wallow in the minors at Glenelg.

What do you reckon a real man would do?
