common theme in many of the initial reviews is that this film could be a serious contender for best picture at the oscars. im sure nolan really couldnt care less what accolades it may or may not earn (especially as TDK didnt even earn a nomination), but still its positive feedback at least. 10 days to go...

I too really want to watch BB and TDK, but I'm forcing myself to wait until marathon day at IMAX.

You can tell from the trailers that this film is gonna pack an emotional punch much more so than prequels. I cant wait.
Im watching the first 2 tonight screw it.
I've watched the first two films twice (each) in the last week alone. The marathon is just too far away for me to wait.

New 13 minute preview/behind the scenes interviews. Be warned it is kinda spoilery with some new footage and dialogue but damn it got me hard. 11 days to go.

yeah i watched the first 2 mins of the 13 min preview but had to switch it off. knew it was going to reveal too much. just so pumped, watched BB a few days ago will watch TDK sometime this week. havent been this excited for a movie since TDK

I'll watch the blurays this weekend , watched BB three times at the cinemas and TDK 3 as well , I shudder to think how many times I'll wath this one.
Watching the Dark Knight on Blu-Ray right now.
Seeing this tomorrow. Watched the first two yesterday.Pumped for this! By all reports it is amazing

Yeah on reflection I shouldn't have fallen for that, but at 3 in the morning was hard to pick.
It won't beat Avatar because it's not in 3D (less $$$)
Hey guys. Looking to book tickets and want best experience but have little idea about screens etc. Is Carlton IMAX a lot better than anything else (i.e Highpoint IMAX, Xtreme screen)

Xtreme screen - it's bigger than a normal screen but the difference is negligible, for me anyway
IMAX Carlton - world's third largest screen (32 metres by 23 metres). This is where I want to see it.
IMAX Highpoint - according to the internet this is smaller than the Carlton IMAX, not sure of the exact dimensions though
Thanks heaps guys! Last question, never been to IMAX Carlton. Are seats 3rd last row from back on edge/end of row OK?
