No, Hawforn is under investigation for Salary cap breaches for extra payments made to their top 8 playersIs this Hawthorn "cheating" thing a new meme?
Cool story bro.No, Hawforn is under investigation for Salary cap breaches for extra payments made to their top 8 players
lol Norwood.
Congratulations! Hawthorn are undoubtedly at a level which every Australian sporting team aims to reach, and provide a supporter experience all fans can only dream of having.
It's simply embarrassing how opposition fans behave in general (and in particular on this website) towards the Hawks, simply out of jealousy.
Instead of acting in a massively immature way towards the club, I'll what is right and applaud the remarkable job Alistair Clarkson & co have done over the past decade or so.
The Hawks let you have Bolton, he revamps Carlton who are now progressing towards success, yet you're still acting in a disrespectful way? You should be ashamed of yourself.
That's right. It's less than our average. Why is our worst crowd ever at AO only 3000 less than your average home crowd this year?
That's right. It's less than our average.
It also holds the record of the lowest AFL crowd between two top eight teams.
Congratulations.
Don't be like that Plugger.Pretty sure Thomas is a Hawf supporter in disguise.
Last night wasn't a wet rainy Thursday night either... It was quite dry, not too cold and the moon was out for most of the second half.
Why are you making excuses we know you never go to gamesWith predicted rain, hail, thunderstorms and snow it was no surprise to see us get our worst AO crowd of 37,890. Also being the family club, there would've been a lot of families with kids whose bed time would've been at some point throughout the game - and with school tomorrow that would be bad parenting.
Sure we could've had a few thousand more but given the forecast and the hesitation from families being a school night, it was a decent crowd
Don't be like that Plugger.
Even you have a soft spot for the 1971 Hawk Premiership team.
Maybe the State Govt can give us $50,000 compoWhat was the forecast though? People need to make a call hours before the game starts. I can't believe I even need to explain this.
That's right. It's less than our average.
It also holds the record of the lowest AFL crowd between two top eight teams.
Congratulations.
So you are saying when the Australian Government tells everyone to be on high alert for potential terrorist attacks on home soil, that we should tell them to gagf and trust the BOM are more accurate in their predictions... How often has the BOM forecast something that hasn't eventuated? they are always making mistakes since they are using this thing called prediction and guesstimating which surprise surprise isn't 100% accurate.
Why are you making excuses we know you never go to games
So no they weren't. But anyway, care to make a bet in regards to home crowds?
Including Kangaroos, Crows have Collingwood, Essendon, Brisbane remaining. Port have Richmond, Hawthorn, GWS and Melbourne.
Let's include last night's crowd, seeing as it was so piss poor - you should easily top it in all of your remaining home games correct? This means that come the end of round 21 (not going to include the showdown or our last home game) we would've played 4 home games each, with Port clearly having the superior crowd numbers (because ours are so shit)
Easy winning bet yep? Winner owns losers sig and avatar from the end of round 21, until the beginning of the 2017 H&A season
Definitely ripped off. That was before my time but I'm pretty sure we were robbed by the umpires again in that game.
