They've realised that this might be the only chance to get those inbred clowns north of the Murray to actually care about this sport.

So after the absolute snore fest that has been the previous three years, and the fact that hawthorn are about as inspiring as Caro making out with a rotten pig carcass, the AFL needed a good luck story. Something for the Victorian clubs to cling to, something to galvenise them, and look how wondeful that the story they chose was the largest growth corridor of melbourne.

Decentralize it and make it truly National or just leave it as the joke it is now. I know for one with 30 years of having to put up with being hobbled at every stage and originally saving it with 4 million bail money I can't take it any more serious now than the WWE.
