No offense to Pav because I love the guy, but there's no way in hell he deserved it this year. The match committee must have been marking him really, really easy. No way he had a better season than Fyfe and McPharlin.

Surprised Broughton finished ahead McPharlin too.

If you were to take about 10 or 12 votes off Pav and give them to McPharlin, then I reckon it looks spot on.

Very strange result, especially considering Pav missed an extra game over Fyfe and was subbed at half time in another.

I always polled votes in footy, I think sometimes people just get used to putting down your name.

Alson when it is a 5-4-3-2-1 win or lose, it becomes easier to grab those lower votes on a poorer performance.

I have nothing but love for Pav, I hope he kicks 75 next season but is robbed by a young Fyfey and balance will be brought to the world.

When captain Fyfe and premiership coach Pavlich sit down in 20 years time they can have a good laugh about it.

Strange result considering Fyfe topped our Brownlow tally and made the AA squad (same with McPharlin). Pavlich was definitely not as effective this year, but I guess the coaches saw it differently. They said that Fyfe got within 3 votes with one game to go but both did not play in the last game.

Fyfe robbed of the Goal of the Year as well! I hope this just makes him hungrier for next season and then he wins every single award possible
