Honestly, I don't think Freo are all that. I see them as a team hell bent on keeping to low scores, any team that puts the focus on fast scoring can top them off.

Yep, it's so obvious, don't know why nobody else has figured this out yet!

As they say, defense wins premierships and currently ours is the best by some margin, keep on thinking we're shit though :thumbsu:

Tigers will finish 4th.

I notice you're very positive towards the Tigers on a lot of threads.

Keep up the good work and welcome aboard the tiger train. :) :thumbsu:

Who has said this exactly?
I'm happy with where we're at and excited for a real crack of making finals but not deluded; many Tigers on this forum are exactly the same.

I agree with you mate, I think sometimes tiger fans get over excited and it tends to annoy me, but this year the feeling around the tiger fans is not over hyped and level headed.

Talking to our supporters i feel that we all are very excited but have learnt the hard way that we need to keep the lid on.

Just hoping that we make the finals this year and once we are there anything could happen. I think a realistic goal is to give a fright and possibly beat teams, because our best is up there.

Would say that at most, there are 11 teams in contention.

Hawthorn.
Geelong.
Fremantle.
Essendon.
Sydney.
Richmond.
Collingwood.
Port Adelaide.

Carlton.
West Coast.
Adelaide.

If Adelaide lose to Gold Coast, you can put a dash next to their chances.

Remarkably, if Freo beat Geelong and Essendon beat West Coast, Geelong'll fall from 2nd to 4th.

If Richmond beat St Kilda and Sydney beat Carlton, Richmond and Sydney will swap spots.

This is confusing me. Why would they swap spots?

It's hard to predict the order so I won't comment on that (other than you've given the Tigers an elimination final against Geelong ) , but I'd have Carlton, or even GCS more likely than West Coast for 8th. Maybe this is a product of my Richmond (they were crap against us) bias.

I have the Eagles in there only believing they will win this week against Essendon and i think they will beat Geelong and lift for the derby and beat Freo. It's line ball for them, they drop any of those home games and they miss out. Port are hanging in there and who knows where they will finish? Sorry about matching the Cats with the Tigers, but i doubt the Tigers would have much trouble with Geelong currently.
