It's five days and the wickets will come easier in days 4 and 5. There will be a result unless WA are ahead on bonus points and somehow we get three players ton up big.

It would be unfortunate if Tasmania don't get ahead on points and then WA bat for days

This game won't be won on bonus points.
Tasmania will be looking to get as close to WAs score as possible, then hope to skittle our batting in the second innings, and then chase down the total.
If they focus to much on bonus points and get out cheaply, the game will be all over.

Remember that one time Victoria hosted a shield final against us in Hobart (because Melbourne wasn't fit for purpose) and the most driest lifeless Hobart wicket of all time was prepared....
We did the same to Victoria in 86/87.

Silk looks like he is batting for a draw.

He needs to put his long neck on the line and play a few shots.
It’s day 2.
We made 347.
Tasmania are no longer going to care about bonus points, they will try to win over the 5 days.
These are professional cricketers, they are aware of the bonus points system, but they’re not going to be so fixated on it that it’s all they can think about.

BJ is enjoying being the alpha in the domestic cricket commentary box and absolutely slating every single thing anyone on the field does.

I don’t like or dislike commentators, but I do laugh when people wonder how did he get such a prominent role at Fox.

Hardie strikes to get rid of Doran, great ball.

Well BJ did play for Australia so he was a pretty good cricketer back in his day but he is a bloody ordinary cricket commentator.

Stuey Clark also played for Australia and he is a far better commentator than BJ, quite knowledgeable and doesn't talk himself up.

He knows the right people at Fox, more than he knows how to commentate.

The people at Fox know the unwritten laws

Do you see the girls immaculate shoulder?
Do you want to get your name on her folder?
Hope may spring eternal, but you should not let it
Hear the unspoken words
