Present Barry could go back to just after they defeated Zoom and tell past Barry sitting on the porch, not to go back in time because Flashpoint.

He already tried that when he went back again and let Thawn kill his mother. When he came back to the present he was on the porch and had never gone back in time because it had been reset. As we know the reset wasn't perfect.

Tom Cavanagh is an under-rated actor.
He has played 3 different versions of the same character, and each has been pretty distinct.
Also I was disappointed there was no Harry Potter reference when Julian was mentioning the Philosophers Stone. I know it would have been breaking the 4th wall and all, but would have been nice.

Exactly the way I feel!
Got into arrow over the Xmas break after watching season 1 a while ago. Love it more now that I've watched the flash as they definitely make a fair few flash references in it.
Heard a very interesting fan theory today. If it's possible for Barry to go backwards and forwards in time, and it's possible for him to throw lightening then is it possible that future Barry goes back and throws lightening at himself and that's the cause of him getting his powers and not the particle accelerator?
