Not to mention the whole of Indonesia is also missing on that "real" photo taken by the Chinese lunar probe. It should clearly be visible through the gaps of the clouds, just like half of New Zealand should be visible above the horizontal cloud.

Sulawesi is easily seen in that photo, looks like Borneo is next to it where it should be too.

I can't see New Zealand. Possibly it's under clouds, but bear in mind any part that isn't is likely to be dark green like the very east coast of Australia so not easy to see.

Possibly photo is just fake too I suppose.

Hey I'm glad someone at least recognizes the possibility it's fake. Most people won't even question anything that comes from an authority.

Its not just an unconvincing case for a flat earth that needs to be made, but a whole new unconvincing theory of gravity. Even if the roundness of the Earth could not be directly observed, and measured since Ancient Greek times, there's a lot to overcome before anything other than an approximate spherical shape can even be considered as conjecture.

A lot of photos are enhanced, many are stitched together (moreso of planets other than Earth).

As for that image, I actually can't tell what part of the coast you are showing. If its showing where I think it is, the New Zealand barely fits in the bottom of map (because the Earth is curved a straight line projection doesn't work too well) and you might have a better case with New Caledonia. But that image at that resolution is too grainy for narrow bits of land to show, however long.

I'm not sure I understand. You could just jump in a boat and sail to New Zealand. Are people saying it's not there? Or its in some other direction?

There's a difference between questioning what you're told and challenging things that are irrefutable. Saying the Earth is flat is like saying oxygen doesn't exist.

Here is the east coast of Australia and the non-existent New Zealand on the "real" image of earth supposedly taken from the Chinese lunar probe. Zoomed into this size it's grainy, but it's clear as day there is no land mass above the cloud where the top half of New Zealand should be. The most northern part of New Zealand is above Sydney and the Eastern side of that cloud slopes down barely above the south coast of Victoria. Look at the colour of Australia's land mass, and look to the East where there is clearly no land mass at all.

It could be even grainier and still be 100% obvious there is no land where New Zealand should be. Completely busted.

I don't get why it's so hard to admit an image that's passed off as being real is in fact fake. Even when it's blatantly obvious like this one. It doesn't require you to completely change your entire world view, or even admit that all pictures of Earth taken from space are fake. All it requires is to see that authorities aren't always 100% honest with the data they put out.

How much of the data is false really isn't the issue. Questions must be asked why any false data claimed to be real even exists at all.

Positioned the earth to get a similar angle to the Chinese probe shot. Took screenshot.
Overlayed the earthbrowser shot over the Chinese lunar probe shot in photoshop (took a few attempts on earthbrowser to get a fairly close positioning).
Made gif of the overlay with gradations of 10% opactity.




NZ and Indonesia are simply obscured by clouds, or for those parts which may otherwise possibly be visible (southern parts of the indo archipelago for eg.) are of not significant enough contrast to be clear on the photo. The sun's reflective flaring around the north east corner of Australia would also account for some visual noise in that vicinity.

There's a discrepancy between earthbrowser and the probe's north eastern coastline of Australia, but without knowing exactly why, I am sure lense distortion of some sort would explain - also earthbrowser may be inaccurate in parts.

Of course earthbrowser may just be part of the conspiracy.

Because everybody knows that when flying to Brazil, the cruising altitude is twice that of to the Middle East, hence that's why it takes the same time.

I can't even find a picture of a real satellite in space.

It's all CGI.

I'm not going to even get into a debate about the flat earth although it's a very compelling argument.

At one point or another in history (repeatedly), society has been completely wrong, about things we were completely sure about.

Many people are too narrow minded to question their own beliefs and that is the reason that the world is such a mess imo.

The people in this thread, are exactly the type of people, who would have laughed about the concept of people getting sick, by invisible things called bacteria...

Just because we can't make sense of things with our puny little brains, doesn't mean that it is not possible.

I think people that are claiming to know so much about the universe are delusional, as are many in this thread, the only reason they believe anything they're saying is because someone told them it was fact.
