The forgotten ballers of the 90's game

Just having a look through this thread, and thought I'd revive it with a few names that are yet to rate a mention. A fair few of these are probably in the dud/journeyman category, but most were staples of '90s basketball card collections everywhere:

Even though his name has been mentioned a few times throughout this thread, I feel the need to show some respect to Eric Murdock. One of the most underrated and forgotten good players of the '90s. Was awesome during his time in Milwaukee. Career was all too brief though. Lack of YouTube footage of him is disappointing as well.

[*]Matt Bullard (1 NBA Championship, makes Andrea Bargnani look like Dennis Rodman)

...except Bullard wasn't a big man, he was a slow SF who occasionally played 4 but spent the vast majority of his time camping for 3-point shots.

I had high hopes that Steve Novak was going to carry on his legacy in Houston, but alas, it wasn't to be.

I meant not only in rebounding, but defense and general 'hardness' on the court. Probably should have just stuck with my original comment about him being one of the softest, most outside tall (6'10"+) guys ever instead of making a poor analogy/comparison.

Anyway, Matt Freije was my favourite potential "next Bullard". He did even less in the league than Novak though :p

/r/rogerro01.html"]Rodney Rogers[/URL] (probably just as much of a '00s guy)

Is now paralyzed from the shoulders down after a dirt bike accident :(

Every basketball card pack in the nineties had either Larry Krystokowiak or Chris Dudley - without fail

Wow, just read up about this on Wikipedia, as I wasn't aware of it previously. Obviously would be a terrible thing to happen to anyone, but especially for someone who was a fit, strong professional athlete and active outdoorsy type like Rodgers seemed to be. Really makes you stop and think how much most of us take out mobility for granted.
