Yeah exhibitions is a good idea could set up a decent card and do it wellCharity is one thing, if its a legit fight, he will go down. At his age, 3 minute rounds will tear him a new one against fighter much younger than him.
Yeah exhibitions is a good idea could set up a decent card and do it well
More meant exhibition against current fightersI dont mind the exhibitions but there is a point where the audience will fatigue from it.
Tyson will eventually need to have a legit fight someone decent for big pay day, be it Holyfield?
Be epic until the bell rings and everyone realizes they've been conned again haha. Sunday's "fight" was fun but it doesn't need to happen again either. I don't even think ill watch another Tyson exhibition tbh.Tyson/Holyfield probably looking for one massive final pay day as boxers.
If they get the timing of the fight right where people can attend in a packed stadium it would be epic.
AJ/Jury would be making $40M+ by themselves. Adding Tyson on an undercard isn't making sense for promoters economicallyHe can draw attention just in his name but boxing cards are sh*t 70% of the time.
Put him on at a sold out Wembly under Fury/Joshua I say.
Any young fighter would be stoked to get that gig.
Throw in Tank v Garcia and you have an Olympic level event.
Didn't know that Interloper but that's fantastic. Should be better quality than sailing the high seas!
For anyone interested in the Tyson/RJJ draw bet. It's now been paid out properly rather than a bonus
Very interesting turn of events for the gamblers. All left wondering how SB void markets after results known but it's been fixed. Makes you wonder what they get away with though
Justis Huni v Lucas Browne is signed for next year.
Browne isn't what he was but what a step up in your 3rd fight. Sensational he's moving so quickly
Top Rank own all the Ali stuff I think? There'd be a real limit to what they can actually source so building from scratch a bit I guessYeah bloody oath. They've got a back catalogue of fights as well, nowhere near like UFC Fight Pass of course, rewatched Mayweather v Hatton this morning. Would be great if they could consolidate all of the old fight libraries, I think Bill Cayton owned a lot? They wouldn't be cheap though.
You got a source for that? Great news if true, Huni is certainly not wasting time (nor should he, he's special from what I've seen)

Ben Damon (boxing manager, commentator and I believe handles the telecast schedule for boxing on fox) on Twitter. Beats Browne easily but will still need careful match-making for a while after that. That doesn't mean can crush like Dubois did but stylistically favourable fights for a while, and some older names.
He's already a better prospect than Ajagba who the yanks have been promoting for a few years now
Parker is too much too soon IMO. He's limited for sure but that would be a step up in competition no one has ever done other than Loma fighting for a title on debut? Check Usyk's first 4 pro fights for reference, or even Dubois first 7. Parker in fight 4 would be mental but gee it'd be a breath of fresh air over padding resumes for 6 years before doing anything like so many doYeah I just saw the Damon tweet, exciting stuff! Will be interesting, if he can beat Browne handily might set up a Parker fight, huge risk but then you’re right amongst it for a title shot.
Hardman just hitting gloves really, definitely more active early but think he gets broken down fighting like this. Taking shots in tight he wouldn't at range imo
Hardman also getting hit twice as much in close as at distance. Odd strategy. Took a flurry of shots in the 6th as wellYeah the British commentator is right, if he stayed on the outside more he'd be winning easy, Singh appears to want a phone booth fight. I was thinking it's a bit like what Jon Jones does often in MMA, he tries to beat the other guys at their own game, wrestlers at wrestling and strikers at striking.
