I used to hate Bisping. My first hated fighter as a fan for how he acted on the ultimate fighter before UFC 100 (my first introduction to the sport). Man that overhand from Hendo was sweet.

Now I love the smug prick. One of the better success stories of perseverance in the history of the sport.

That is a great fight. I wonder what the odds will be for that one. The relatively unproven vs the tried and tested. As good as Till looks, more often than not the hype gets found out when it steps up to champions. I look forward to watching that.

He did win the first round comfortably and arguably won the second against Max in his last fight. I would also like to see him build his way back up, but the alternative appears to be Swanson (who Holloway dismantled) or an untested guy like Ortega.

He just snapped a 2 fight losing streak in his last fight against a guy who was on one leg from very early in the fight.

Unfortunately for the UFC there's not a fight that makes sense for them at the moment. I was thinking Holloway could take a fight at 155 against a top 10 guy to try and hype interest in a rematch with McGregor. The downside with that is that if he loses, it damages his brand as champion. I don't know what they do to keep him on the card to be honest.

True, yeah it is a bit of a pickle at the moment. I'm not interested in seeing Ortega fight him. Maybe he takes a break while the dust settles and fights the following month or 2.
