Seems odd you wouldnt put it as co-main for 229 though, seeing as their fight isnt the main either. Can't think of any other huge potential fights coming up, especially as most champs have fought or tied up.

If Nate hadn't played hardball for so long, he might have an arguement to be pissed. But par for the course there.

229 will now sell 1 million+ PPV regardless of the co-main

I like Cyborg vs Nunes but people don't seem to rate that.

Probably waiting for Brock and that's it for him I reckon.

Agree re DC at LHW. Not much motivation to cut all that weight. Even JJ at LHW is no guaranteed PPV success the third time around. DC vs Gus at LHW is too much risk for little reward before the money fight IMO.

Only really mentioned it as DC mentioned the possibility himself. I think he only mentioned LHW fight next so he doesn't get his LHW belt stripped before the Brock fight.

DC/JJ at HW on the other hand...

Even then DJ may say it's not enough time to put on the weight. A lot of motovation to do it though. Headline a massive card at MSG and solidify your legacy by having a legit big win which some think is the only thing missing from his resume.

I was originally putting up possibilities for UFC 230 main event.

You're right. 8 weeks not enough time for a superfight like that one.
