Pretty much the premise of Hot Tub Time Machine 2 but will have a killer soundtrack.

It does look like the feel good hit of the summer, I'll go see it for sure.

The reviews from Cannes are really good.

Reality but with a tinge of aboriginal Dreamtime stuff. You wouldn’t want it any other way for this film.

New doco on Netflix - Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers. Some of you may know his story, I'd sort of forgotten about him as it had been so long since I'd heard of him but some recent digging around by a filmmaker has helped support Lazar's original claims so he's come out to give air to what is an undeniably interesting story. Make of it what you will but I'm a believer.

He just did a podcast with Rogan which is also fascinating af.

Make of it what you will but I'm a believer.

Not related but a true story..ever heard of the pilot that vanished off Bass straight Frederick Valentich? When I was kid we had a beach house on the coast between Lorne and Apollo Bay, anyway one night I was having a piss on the back lawn and noticed some strange lights in the sky. I went inside and called my family out and they all saw them as well. We were out of town and knew nothing about his disappearance for a few days. Same place, same time. Bizarre. Mum reported it to the HS and we were on the 3rd page (just a little mention). There were others in the same area that reported those lights as well.

Have watched the doco and the JRE episode. It’s captivating but ultimately I feel he is a very talented liar only. I wanted to believe but a few things on the Rogan show made me think he’s full of it.

Hard to really know, it could all be a lie & if so he's pretty much made life very difficult for 30 years with no apparent gain or benefit. There's a couple things the doco maker uncovered which help support his claims so I thought it was a worthwhile watch just for that.

Just for the record, it's not the greatest doco ever made & the maker is well a flog but I found it all interesting as well as the podcast.

Watched them both...loved the bit in the pod cast about the orangutans entering the stoneage by starting to use tools. How was that pic of one spearing fish frikkin insane. And theories about us just existing to make better things makes sense and worth listening to their views.

I watched it today and really enjoyed it. It's funny, got an interesting storyline and the animation again is just amazing. Can't believe it's been 25 years since the original, a sure sign I'm getting old.

The more time goes on, the more classics like Toy Story and The Lion King seem super impressive achievements and not just in the visuals but in the whole delivery. The tracks in Toy Story 1 are iconic and their placement in the film just sublime.
