The Heat....

It was the kind of heat which made you feel sick. I remember catching the train into the city (meeting my then bf), it was an ordeal just waiting for the train to come.. got to Crown, watched Slumdog Millionaire, then went St Kilda, pretty much stayed there most of the night swimming.

It was so hot.

Yeah the far west like Penrith often gets those hot temps from memory. Difference between the east coast and western syd on hot days is cruel for ostensibly the same city, and those cool changes seem to take their sweet ass time.
Sounds like they need a Freo Doctor.
WA would bake if it wasn't so windy.

Yes, it’s called summer 🙂
Melbourne doesn’t normally “feel” like this in summer though. I’m originally from Queensland and it’s usually damp and sweaty when it’s hot, Melbourne is normally dry and arid when it’s hot.

Melbourne in the last few days especially has just had that damp, humid air, it’s weird.

I recall having a meeting in prestons and when I got in the car the temp reading was 47, I’m sure it was a few degrees off but that was truly disgusting
