Re: Injury Update

Winderlich was fit by the end of the season so he will get in a full pre season.

Dempsey wasn't too far behind, I guess he'd be a bit behind Winderlich fitness wise.

Prismall has had surgery but I'm not sure where he is up to.

Re: Injury Update

We're just going to unsticky this thread for the time being, at least until pre-season's right underway and injuries come about; ideally we won't be needing this for a long while.
Strongly disagree. A few players would've gone under the knife to get something cleaned up during the offseason.

Would prefer to keep this thread stickied for updates from Lotch.

Please keep stickied.

Was it Winderlich who went for the LARS option and Dempsey the traditional surgery?

Re: Injury Update

I thought both went traditional.

I'm pretty sure both went with the traditional reconstruction.

Sorry am I missing something? Why would Dempsey be a bit behind Winderlich fitness wise? They did their knees about ten minutes apart.

Injuries aren't an exact science. Windas night have just healed a little quicker, may not have been s bad a tear, could be any one of many things.

Re: Injury Update

both had normal surgery, if they had lars they would have been back playing already...

Re: Injury Update

Throughout the year on Hamilton's injury report Dempsey was always behind Winders. I got a feeling that it might have a little to do with work ethic. I'm sure Winderlich was doing everything possible to be fit and ready to play AFL again as soon as possible where as Dempsey I'm not so sure.

Yeh, Dempsey is 10 minutes behind Winderlich. Just means he will have to start his pre-season training at 8:10am rather than 8:00am..

Sorry, I'm bored..

Re: Injury Update

Think we are making assumptions about Winderlich and Dempsey.

For example, Dempsey may have damaged other ligaments/cartliage - or Winderlich could be a quicker healer.
