Re: The Injury Thread - Your guess is as good as ours!

Hird reported on SEN this morning that about 5-6 players are carrying little injuries that won't get better unless rested. Expect a few players to get rested against GWS this week.

Good opportunity to get Colyer, Pears, McVeigh, Reimers in and not lose a hell of a lot of quality. Wouldn't mind seeing Kavanagh getting a one off game too against the smaller bodied GWS after seeing his impressive performance for Bendigo on Saturday.

Gumby - back - returns this week

Myers - hammy - test

Hurley - hammy - probable return this week

Hibberd - hammy - 3-5 weeks

Ross - foot - ???

Browne - hamstring - listed to play vfl this weekend

Winders - hamstring - indefinite

Prismall - knee - Return mid to late year

Long - who knows - ???

Hille - calf - 2-4 weeks

O'Brien - foot - ???

Time for an update!

Gumby is playing, so is Long, Browne and Hurley.

Hille and Myers are supposedly fit again.

Fletch and Heppell are having a rest. Hibberd might be back next week with them.

Pris & Winders a way off still.

O'Brien and Ross NFI.

Re: The Injury Thread - Your guess is as good as ours!

Reported that O'Brien will be back in 4 to 6 weeks.

Ross is a mystery - Has missed about 8 weeks with a allegedly minor ankle injury.

Re: The Injury Thread - Your guess is as good as ours!

So assuming Heppell and Hibberd are back this week (hopefully) in some form.

Ross, O'Brien, Davis, Winderlich and Prismall on the injury list.

Anyone heard anymore about the Ross injury???

Zaka out for maybe a month? FFS these soft tissue injuries.....

Thought I read that O'Brien may be back this week and Davis shortly after.

Ross's sprained ankle has kept him out for 3 months.

Agree with DOS - Suspect that Winderlich may not play at all.

And Prismall must have suffered a setback

Still wondering what's happening on the Winders, Ross, O'Brien, and Davis fronts...

Spoke to Ross on twitter last week and he was planning on playing this week in the VFL. I can't understand why the club can't keep us up to date on this stuff. Can't see any strategic advantage from not revealing injury information on young, fringe or the long term injured (such as Winders).
